#28 Go to a Drive In Theater

Ashley Steiber created a Drive In Facebook Event to celebrate her Birthday. Friday the 13th of July was the date, but we didn’t see a scary movie. We went and saw Snow White and the Huntsman. (So as a side note, it might have been the third time I’d seen that movie. The first time I saw it, I missed the first 15min and was super confused. The second time, I saw it all and like the movie better because I saw the beginning. The third time was probably a little much but it was a drive in so still exciting.)

Before we left, Jesse and I went to Joe’s house and stole 2 mattresses from him. Jesse has 2 trucks so it was perfect. We threw the mattresses into the back and left. It was Jesse, Ashley, Shley, Jenn, and me. Jesse let me drive his 2012 Tacoma and he drove his work truck. We finally found 2 spots together and got all set up with pillows and blankets. Jesse brough his puppy Reba so I got to snuggle with her the whole time which made life better! It was a perfect night and I decided I really like drive ins. They’re just different and fun. You get awesome, comfortable, lay down seating. You can bring dogs. You can look at the stars if the movie gets boring. And you can talk without people shushing you. It’s pretty great and I give it 4.5 stars. The only bad thing? A fed-ex truck drove by about 13 times during the movie and yes I was counting. I didn’t like the subliminal advertising but what can you do? Haha, just kidding. Great time!
